Mamata Banerjee is taking down West Bengal on the path of being an Islamic state, with Sharia as the unwritten rule, setting aside the Indian Constitution.

Aliah University, established as an autonomous university under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal, under the Aliah University Act 2007, Section 3 (3), now demands knowledge of ‘Islamic Culture’ as a prerequisite for the post of ‘Technical Assistant’ in the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Geography!

What happened to reservation for SC/ST and OBCs in these State funded ‘minority’ institutions? The TMC and I.N.D.I Alliance are eating into reservations meant for the backward classes and giving them off to Muslims.

The Congress was the first to remove reservation for SC/ST and OBCs from Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia. Later, requirement to provide constitutionally mandated reservation for the backward classes was done away for all ‘minority’ institutions, even if State funded.
