Hand railings should be set around the platform to protect the goods. The height of hand railings is about 1m. When the height of platform is more than 2m, a skirting board with a height of 100-150mm should be placed under the railing. The platform is provided with ladders for the upper and lower passages. The width of the ladder should not be less than 600mm.

The layout of the platform structure should be economical and reasonable, and the transfer of forces should be direct and clear. The layout of the beam should be adapted to its span. When the span of the beam is larger, the spacing should also be increased.
