WoW Classic TBC is coming to an end with the release of its final update Phase 5. The final raid of the Burning Crusade is coming to World of Warcraft Classic TBC. With the advent of the Sunwell Plateau, gear has been massively improved for all classes and specs, which means it's a great deal for all players a huge power spike.

Whether it's gaining much-needed expertise to hit a cap, speeding past speed limits, or just pushing attack power and spell power to new heights, the Sunwell Plateau has a ton of gear that can be heavily upgraded. This will be the last big release before WotLK's pre-patch, which will make it easier for players to get into Classic WoW's next expansion.

The Isle of Quel'Danas is now live
Players can finally access the new area in the final update to World of Warcraft Classic TBC, Quel'Danas.

The island is home to the Shattered Sun Offensive, the Magister's Platform, and ultimately the Sunwell Plateau. Players can now travel to the island through A'dal's quests.

Make sure to check out the new area and start lucrative daily quests for the Shattered Sun Offensive War effort - as this is very important for both reputation and the development of the area launching towards the Sunwell Plateau.

What's new in Phase 5?
WoW Classic TBC Phase 5 introduces three major new content - new teams, new dungeons, and new areas.

New Raid Instance: Sunwell Plateau
WoW Classic TBC Phase 5 is titled one of the most iconic and difficult raids in game history - Sunwell Plateau.

The raid marked the return of Kael'thas, who hoped to unleash the power of the Sunwell to summon the demon lord Kil'jaeden after the events of Stormhold.

Sunwell Plateau has the following bosses:

Kalecgos
Sathrovarr the Corruptor
Brutallus
Felmyst
Eredar Twins (Lady Sacrolash, Grand Warlock Alythess)
M'uru
Entropius
Kil'jaeden
Aside from the intense boss fights, perhaps the most difficult aspect of the Sunwell Plateau is its instance-wide buff to all creatures named Sunwell Radiance. This buff increases the melee hit chance of enemy mobs by 5% and reduces the player's chance to dodge by 20%.

This buff will put a lot of pressure on tanks and healers to absorb a whole new level of damage output across the team.

New Region: Isle of Quel'Danas
The final phase of Classic TBC takes players to a new area, the Isle of Quel'Danas. The island will call upon all players to take part in the Shattered Sun Offensive, the combined forces of Aldo and the Astrologers in order to build the area by completing daily quests and then take over the vast Sunwell Plateau.

While this is reminiscent of the Ahn'Qiraj war effort in World of Warcraft Classic (original), it's a much less engaging and scaled experience that will hopefully avoid the former's disastrous launch.

Quel'Danas is home to the Sunwell Plateau, the Realm of the Sun, and the Magister's Platform.

New Dungeon: Magister's Platform
In addition to the massive new Sunwell Plateau raid, there is another new PVE endgame content, the Magister Platform.
