Ultra Boost 2022, Kanye West and adidas (XETRA:ADS.DE +2.47%) ‘ partnership has undoubtedly been one of the most impactful relationships that the sneaker space has ever witnessed. Together, they’ve introduced a flurry of new sneaker silhouettes, but if we had to boil their success down to one shoe that changed the game, it would be the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2.The adidas Yeezy family isn’t short on product. Over the year’s first six months, the Ye-led imprint has reimagined some of its more popular silhouettes in new styles, with the latest arriving in the form of a “Dark Beluga” Yeezy Boost 350 v2.
This offering of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is basically a darker version of the original “Beluga” colorway, which also includes the Solar Red “SPLY-350” stripe on the lateral side.Unlike its counterparts, the offering debuts in a darker shade of grey. Similarly, the iteration includes the solar red stripe on the lateral side with “SPLY-350” branding. Other motifs include hints of the red throughout the model paired with a full grey Primeknit upper. Finishing touches feature a full-length Boost midsole matching the base.
This Union × Nike Cortez Black features canvas textile on the base while suede appears on the overlays. Next, we have the signature UN/LA labels on the lateral side by the toe. On the heel, we have Union’s logo, the insoles have an aged look with small chunks missing, and co-branding lands on the cork insoles. Lastly, the pair has a Blue lace jewel.Elsewhere, the aforementioned green runs across the cork insole, laces, and contrast stitching; cool-tones dress the dubrae; and a muted orange highlights the “UN/LA” hangtag.
