16 मार्च को साहित्य अकादमी ने वर्ष 2025 के लिए अपने वार्षिक 'साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कारों' की आधिकारिक घोषणा कर दी है। इस बार 24 भारतीय भाषाओं के उत्कृष्ट साहित्यकारों को उनके अद्वितीय योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया है।
सबसे खास बात यह है कि इस साल असमिया, बोडो और मणिपुरी भाषाओं के लेखकों ने भी बाजी मारी है, जो पूर्वोत्तर भारत की समृद्ध साहित्यिक विरासत को राष्ट्रीय पटल पर एक नई पहचान दिलाता है। दिसंबर 2025 में रद्द हुई प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के महीनों बाद आखिरकार यह बहुप्रतीक्षित ऐलान हो गया है।
इस साल 8 कविता संग्रह, 4 उपन्यास, 6 कहानी संग्रह, 2 निबंध, 1 साहित्यिक आलोचना, 1 आत्मकथा और 2 संस्मरणों को यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार मिला है।

वीर योद्धा रामलाल खोखर ने आज के दिन (15 मार्च 1206 ) मोहम्मद गौरी का सिर काट लिया था।
खोखर जाट बड़े वीर थे वीरता जाट जाति का जन्मजात गुण है जिस ग़ज़नवी के नाम से बड़े बड़े राजा महाराजा भय खाते थे जाटों ने उस ग़ज़नवी को लुट कर उसके दिल में भय पैदा कर दिया यह ऐतिहासिक प्रमाण है कि इन खोखर जाटों के दिल्ली के तोमर जाट राजाओ से वैवाहिक सम्बन्ध रहे थे इन खोखर जाटों ने झेलम के आसपास अपना राज्य कायम किया जब गौरी ने दिल्ली पर कब्ज़ा कर लिया राजा पृथ्वीराज की हत्या कर दी (बिजोलिया शिलालेख अनुसार) तो जाट खापों ने गौरी के खिलाफ बगावत का बिगुल बजा दिया गौरी ने हिन्द की जनता पर अत्याचारो की बाढ़ ला दी।
1205 06 में खोखर जाटों ने लाहौर पर अधिकार कर लिया तथा पंजाब के शासक बनने की घोषणा कर दी। सन् 1206 ई० में खोखरों को दबाने के लिए गौरी फिर भारत आया। जब वह लाहौर से 15 मार्च 1206 ई० को गजनी वापिस जा रहा था तब धम्यक (Dhamyak) के स्थान पर मुलतान के 25,000 खोखर जाटों ने गौरी की सेना पर धावा बोलकर मोहम्मद गौरी का सिर काट लिया। उसके मरते ही गौरी का विशाल साम्राज्य ऐसा अस्त हो गया कि मानो वह जादू का चमत्कार था।
