General Manoj Pande #coas visited the calamitous lake outburst affected areas in #sikkim & reviewed the situation. The COAS met Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Hon'ble CM #sikkim & assured all support from #indianarmy in the ongoing relief operations. CM #sikkim, while sharing his condolences on losses suffered by the soldiers, also thanked #coas for the effective Civil-Military coordination in dealing with the situation. The #coas also interacted with soldiers deployed in forward areas of #sikkim and commended them for their dedicated efforts in service of the Nation & commendable role in saving the lives of civilians affected by the calamity.
