उत्तर प्रदेश के शामली में चैत्र नवरात्रि के पावन पर्व को देखते हुए पुलिस प्रशासन ने सख्त कदम उठाए हैं. जिले में मंदिरों के आसपास मीट की दुकानों को बंद कराने का विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है. प्रशासन की ओर से निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि मंदिर से 500 मीटर की दूरी के भीतर आने वाली सभी मीट की दुकानों को अस्थायी रूप से बंद रखा जाए, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं की धार्मिक भावनाओं का सम्मान किया जा सके
