Curse aa bokka!!!

Siva made sure there are enough events in the film that keep the viewers engrossed, especially the interval portion that works tremendously.
More than the pre-climax twist, I personally loved how he chose to end that sequence with an unexpected perspective. Climax twist felt rushed and It did give the shock but didn't capitalize much on giving the haunting impact as the pre-climax ending shot/portion did.

Everyone was at their freaking best during the interval fight and then there was this Man , who gave the score for it like it was all he was living for.
And mind you this is not the "All hail tiger" portion I am talking about, but before that , there is a piece of music , it is so international , it just hit different, It was an orchestration whose likes we would have listened to in epic Hollywood movies as overtures.
Ani brought that kinda score to the sea shores where Devara was fighting. Never imagined I would see a mass fight with that kinda symphony. And It freaking delivers the best impact of all. 💚

Movie : Meiyazhagan
Dir.: C. Prem Kumar
Possibly the most endearing film of the year where Karthi exists to provide therapy to us with this affection that we long to experience in life.
Most favourite moment of the movie has to be the interval portion. There is no bang as such, it's a simple convo but it's so much fun and wholesome whose joyous impact felt nothing shorter than that of great adrenaline highs.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the world seems a better place when Karthi enacts tender emotions. He is simply supreme in this character who believes in universal harmony.
Aravind Swami's portrayal of Arun Mozhi was equally amazing. The man was so good at expressing confined emotions.
Aided by Govind Vasantha's pleasing music, C. Prem Kumar's sophomore work as a director is extremely rewarding with beautiful laughs and even more beautiful emotions. 💚
